The Grave of Paul Dianno

Paul Di'Anno, born Paul Andrews, was an English singer best known as the original lead vocalist for the heavy metal band Iron Maiden. He performed on the band's first two studio albums, Iron Maiden (1980) and Killers (1981), and is credited with bringing a gritty, punk-influenced energy to the group’s early sound. Following his departure from the band, he continued a long career fronting various groups, including Battlezone and Killers, and performing as a solo artist.

Di'Anno passed away in October 2024 at the age of 66. Following his death, his final resting place was established at Manor Park Cemetery and Crematorium in Forest Gate, London. The cemetery is a significant historical site in East London, serving the local community since 1875.

His burial at Manor Park holds a degree of geographic significance, as it is located in the London Borough of Newham—the same general area of East London where Iron Maiden was originally formed. This returned the singer to the roots of the musical scene he helped pioneer. His grave has since become a site of remembrance for fans of early British heavy metal.
